On arrival the desk clerk (Stephen) was friendly, polite, & answered all of our questions. In our stay of four days we encountered a lot of the staff and they all were friendly. Fairfield Inn was very clean, our room (419) was cosy & quiet with plenty of room & the bed was very comfortable. Their breadfast had a nice selection to chose from. Its about a block from the back of the Almo and about 3/4 blocks to the river walk. We are in our 70's and did not have trouble reaching it. We would definitely stay here again.
The only thing was no bath mat which made the tub slippery.
Very nice hotel and the staff was excellent. The only thing
I did not like was having to valet park for $21.00 a day. Seems like they should have an alternative parking besides the usggest parking lots further away
Comfortable environment, pretty convenient to downtown and dome. Room was very clean and comfortable.
While the room was pristine in appearance the smell of the room was terrible. The air conditioner smelled mildewy, it was hard to ignore. The only other thing that concerned me was that during the continental breakfast there were styrofoam plates to warm up breakfast items on. This is very toxic NOT GREEN. Paper is better.
staff were friendly rooms clean very central location
i did not like the fact that there were no curtains at the window of the bedroom so the light came in and felt overlooked even though we were on 4 th floor please be aware that there is only valet parking at a cost of $21 and the complimentary coffee was cold in the lobby and the coffee machine in the room was in the bathroom
The staff was very helpful and addressed every request that we had. The breakfast was very good and had many choices. The hotel was a fair value.
Free breakfast, free internet, location, new facilities.
Booked.net mislead us on the price by leaving out the 16.5% tax.
We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed our stay The staff was very frienly and helpfull. The layout and colours in the hotel are nice and peacefull. We would come herr again!
Keep everything as it is-perfect
Very friendly welcome and fantastic location. Excellent value for money
Friendly service, clean rooms, quiet and located very close to many attractions in San Antonio.
New, well-maintained, extremely comfortable, attractive pricing.
Broad range of breakfast choice.
Clean room, good breakfast.
Due to club (Next door?) loud music kept us awake until early morning despite wearing earplugs. Appalling parking - $21 per night. Overall would not recommend and left very dissatisfied..
Their customer service was excellent above and beyond my expectations. Every hotel staff would greet us and offer assistance. Location was excellent just walking distance to the Alamo & Riverwalk.
Their is nothing I didn't like except that it didn't have a hairdryer in the room and I forgot mine but that is not an issue I'm definitly statying again.
The room and bathroom were very clean! The pool was very peaceful and the whole family had a blast playing in it.
The biggest and most important thing we are unhappy about is there is a club 2 doors down that we was unaware of at the time of booking. Friday night and Saturday night until about 4 in the morning it was SO loud. We tried to drown out the noise by turning on the T.V. but it really did not help. I have 3 small kids and has any parent knows sleep is everything for them and us. And we was unable to really get a good sleep due to the loud music and loud noises from all of the club goers.
The hotel was close enough to everything we wanted to do and we were able to walk. It was nice not having to drive everywhere we wanted to go.
Fairfield Inn is in a very convenient location. I rode the Megabus from Dallas and the drop off location was very close. Also, Rivercenter and the Alamo are within walking distance I love the furniture in the lobby. Fitness center was wonderful as was the whirlpool
No refrigerator or microwave in room. "Store" was expensive. Breakfast could have been more exciting.
